Upwind Vision is a New Jersey drone photography studio run by Andrew Murrello, an FAA certified remote pilot based in Morris County.
Why Upwind.
Most listing photographers treat the drone as an add on: a few quick frames from the same height, straight up and straight down. We start from the other end. Before every flight we look at the lot, the light, the neighborhood and what the images are for, then plan the angles that make the property make sense from above.
That means flying the corners at the right height so the roofline reads, waiting for the sun to come around to the front of the house, and pulling back far enough to show the park, the water or the downtown a buyer is really paying for.
It also means doing it legally. Every commercial flight is covered by a Part 107 certificate, a registered aircraft, airspace approval when needed and liability insurance. You never have to wonder whether the person flying over your client's house is allowed to.
